In January 2014, Trompete opened its doors in Bochum's Bermuda3Eck to offer the city's live club culture a new stage away from the mainstream. The Trompete also became known to international bands and agencies after a co-operation with the former Club Zwischenfall. The programme of live concerts and parties is now put together by a cross-genre team. The focus is on all genres of guitar music and high-quality hip-hop and German rap.
Live concerts
The Trompete is known for its regular live concerts, where both national and international artists perform. Concerts at the "Kellerclub" Trompete are a special experience and allow me as a concert photographer to capture a wide variety of styles and moods and expand my portfolio. The proximity to the stage and the interaction of the audience with the artists create unique photo motifs that perfectly reflect the energy and passion of the live performances.
Proximity to the public
Another advantage of the trumpet is the proximity of the audience to the stage. This intimate atmosphere allows me as a concert photographer to capture the interaction between artists and audience, which often leads to the most impressive and emotional images. The audience's reactions, enthusiasm and excitement make up a large part of concert photography and are particularly easy to document in the trumpet.
