For an unforgettable wedding celebration, bridal couples do not necessarily have to choose a church ceremony. Civil weddings in Dortmund are becoming increasingly important. Many couples prefer to tie the knot exclusively at the registry office and forgo a traditional church wedding.
In contrast to the solemn ceremony in the church, more and more couples are longing for an intimate civil wedding. As a photographer for registry office and weddings in Dortmund, I capture the special moments in an authentic wedding reportage.
As a photographer at the registry office in Dortmund, I document the emotional moments discreetly and sensitively. The resulting wedding photos are natural and informal, so that the bridal couple can enjoy them for a long time to come and keep the memories of this special moment in their lives alive.
Photographer for registry office and wedding room
I am happy to offer professional, emotional and authentic photography for your wedding ceremony in Dortmund. Family photos and group photos after the ceremony are also possible.
In addition to the wedding rooms in the town hall and the district administration offices in Aplerbeck, Brackel, Hörde, Hombruch, Lütgendortmund, Mengede and Schranhorst, there are other wedding rooms in Dortmund where you can get married:
- Altes Hafenamt: Weddings take place in the wood-paneled wedding room (for a maximum of twelve people) on the third floor.
- Altes Stadthaus: The wedding hall of the old town hall, which was built in 1899 in the neo-renaissance style, offers space for approx. 48 people (28 seated and 20 standing).
- Dortmunder U: In Dortmund's landmark, bridal couples say "I do" at a height of 20 meters thanks to large panoramic windows with a magnificent view over Dortmund.
- Dortmund Airport: The wedding room is located in the terminal building and has a balcony from which the bridal couple and the wedding party have a wonderful view of the runway of Dortmund Airport.
- Haus Rodenberg moated castle: Couples can tie the knot in the 800-year-old baroque moated castle Haus Rodenberg in the former stables.
- Haus Schulte-Witten: Weddings for up to 60 people are only possible on Saturdays in the manor house built in 1880 in Dortmund-Dorstfeld.
- Historic Hansa brewhouse: An extraordinary wedding in the brewhouse of the former Hansa brewery with a view of copper-colored brewing kettles.
- Hoesch Museum: Get married with industrial flair in the former porter's lodge in Dortmund.
- Hansa coking plant: The wedding ceremony can take place in the Hansa coking plant, an industrial monument, in two extraordinary locations: in front of the "steel giant" in the compressor hall or in the former "place of work" in the light-flooded washroom. Here you can say "I do" as a wedding couple in front of up to 100 wedding guests.
- Wischlingen Chapel: Couples can have a civil wedding in Dortmund in the only sacred half-timbered building with white brickwork and simple, high windows.
- Cultural center balou: Simple but charming ambience with high ceilings, large light-flooded windows and oak flooring for the wedding ceremony in Dortmund.
- Museum of Art and Cultural History: Couples can get married in a classicist atmosphere in the historic "Bremer Saal", a music and ballroom from 1914 with ornate wall decorations and an imposing chandelier.
- Excursion boat Santa Monika: Civil wedding ceremonies can be held on the motor ship Santa Monika in Dortmund's Stadthaben. The ship with its three decks offers enough space for the wedding party and a large wedding celebration in the harbor or on an excursion along the Dortmund-Ems Canal or the Datteln-Hamm Canal.
- Schloss Westhusen: Civil wedding in the stately ambience of the moated castle with stylish surroundings in Dortmund's Westerfilde district.
- Signal-Iduna-Park: Get married in the impressive atmosphere of Dortmund's soccer temple. Civil weddings are possible in the West 4-, the Hankook box (view of Signal Iduna Park) and the new Rote Erde box.
- Zeche Zollern: Wedding ceremonies take place in the Lohnhalle of the Zeche Zollern in Dortmund-Bövinghausen. Couples can have both civil and church weddings here. The long, very high Lohnhalle offers space for up to 100 wedding guests.
