As a concert photographer in Germany, I attended the K-POP-Singer Holland and the K-Pop group PIXY concert at the Zeche Bochum on the 6th of December 2023 with my camera and took numerous concert photos.

Holland (singer)
Go Tae-seob (Korean: 고태섭; born 4 March 1996), real name Holland (Korean: 홀랜드), is a South Korean singer. Holland debuted in January 2018 with the release of the single "Neverland". Go chose his stage name, Holland, as a tribute to the first country to legalise same-sex marriage. When Holland first decided to make music, he tried to audition for an entertainment company. However, no entertainment company was willing to work with an openly gay artist, so he took on two part-time jobs to fund his first single. Holland released his first single, 'Neverland', on 21 January 2018, and the music video received over one million views in 20 hours. The music video features Holland and his male counterpart kissing and was rated 19+ in South Korea.
On the 6th of June, he returned with his next single "I'm Not Afraid". The music video was also rated 19+, but was removed shortly afterwards. His third single, I'm So Afraid, was released on the 17th of July. On 6 September, Holland launched a crowdfunding campaign to finance his first mini-album. He raised $40,000 in the first 24 hours.
On 19 March 2019, Holland announced his self-titled mini-album Holland and the tracks "Nar_C" and "Up" on his social media accounts. The album was released on 31 March.

On 8 July 2019, Holland announced plans for his first tour on social media. Later, on 1 November, Holland announced his first tour "Holland: Invitation from Neverland". The tour was a collaboration with MyMusicTaste, where fans voted on the tour locations. He visited five European cities. A few months after the release of his first mini-album, Holland started announcing his next single "Loved You Better" on his social media platforms from 2 December 2019. The song and music video were released on 11 December 2019.
Holland is known as "the first openly gay K-pop idol". He is an only child. His parents found out about his sexuality after he spoke about it in an interview. Holland, who was away from home at the time, wrote a letter to his family explaining everything. His family accepted him with tears, unaware of the difficulties he faced because of his sexuality. He studied photography at the Seoul Institute of Arts, but dropped out after his debut in 2018.

Go decided to make his debut as a singer in order to deal with his experiences of violence against sexual minorities. While preparing the album, he tried to sign with various agencies, but they all turned him down because he wanted to write music that addressed discrimination against LGBTQ people. In the end, he produced his first single with the money he had saved from his part-time job over two years, without an agency.

After the concert, the concert photographer took lots of photos of the Korean star and his fans. Holland was also available to take mobile phone photos and selfies for the fans.

Holland (Sänger)
Go Tae-seob (koreanisch: 고태섭; geboren am 4.

November, kündigte Holland seine erste Tour "Holland: Invitation from Neverland" an.
